Mt.
Paris, 2000
Oil on photogragh,
9 x 13”.
Since arriving in New York I’ve envisioned the city as a grassy
landscape rather than an urban metropolis. I first realized my conception
in a miniature island mountain range roughly conforming to the topography
of Manhattan-- the peaks on the hills corresponding to skyscrapers.
Various Mountains have been commissioned, to date, including
Mt. Houston, at Diverse Works, Houston.
